In the process of doing this comic I discovered that I do not have Helvetica on my machine.
There also seems to be an inaccuracy here: Verdana started shipping with Internet Explorer in 1996. Still, graphic design people I know claim that Verdana is "old school" and that Garamondd and Trebuchet are the hip serif and sans-serif fonts nowadays.
I will also admit that Comic Sans MS is not inappropriate in all situations. It might be acceptable as a font in comics (even though a lot of better comic fonts exist). However, it is certainly inappropriate when enlarged, or when used in serious matters like medical forms and legal documents.
